RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS (RCIA)

At San Martin de Porres new Catholics are welcomed into the church after completion of a one year of preparation in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). This preparation is for persons who are not baptized in the Catholic Church as well as for baptized Christians but not Roman Catholic. We also prepare those persons who have not received the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation. Persons must be 18 years or older to participate in the one-year preparation course.
