Altar Ministry

The Mission of our ministry is to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere where the families of San Martin de Porres can feel welcomed and comfortable as they come for the Celebration of Mass. Our ministry is responsible for arranging the Missal and song books, changing the Altar cloth and floral arrangements and keeping the statues of our Patron saints neat in appearance. Our other seasonal duties including changing banners and decorating the church in correspondence to the Liturgical season of the Roman Catholic Church which includes Advent, Christmas, Ordinary time, Lent and Easter. Our goal is maintain two teams of committed individuals to rotate duties and responsibilities of operating the up keep our Church and Altar.
